Q. What will membership in AROSE do for me as a food service operator?
A.
As a food service operator, membership in AROSE gives you access to services and products at significantly reduced prices, with the assurance that you are not contributing to the waste stream. AROSE monitors the industry and negotiates with service providers for the best prices for collection of materials such as waste cooking oil, trap grease, and solid food waste. Plus AROSE takes the guesswork out of being environmentally responsible with waste materials.
Q. What does membership cost, and are there any obligations?
A. Membership is FREE! It is expected that each member will sign a letter of intent for three years for each service AROSE provides, once you are satisfied with the pricing. For waste cooking oil, the price is FREE.
Q. How do I know that I am getting the most favored pricing for services?
A.
Visit the www.AROSE.biz to view vendor pricing for trap grease and food waste collection services to confirm most favored status. (coming soon)
Q. If I have multiple locations, will services be provided to each of them?
A. As long as your locations are within the service areas of each of our vendors, and that is very likely, each will benefit from your single membership.
Q. Are there any other benefits from membership in AROSE?
A. As an AROSE member you demonstrate to the community that you care about the future of our earth. More and more consumers are making the conscientious choice to support a cleaner environment through their purchasing power. You will be given a window decal for each of your locations, plus a certificate of membership to display at your place of business. You will have access to the “members only” area of the AROSE web site where you will receive updates, and the latest news on the green industries that serve the food service industry. And, as AROSE negotiates for services, you will be able to participate in the process, with no obligations.
Q. Are there any costs whatsoever for waste vegetable oil collection service?
A. For this particular service, AROSE has contracted with Environmental Energy Recycling Corporation for free collections. EERC provides the appropriate containers for your establishment and automatically collects the containers when full. Our representatives will be in touch with you to arrange the best schedule for pick up of filled containers, and delivery of empty ones.
